Educational resources
Especially for all EFI members we have a lot of educational resources available. Please login to your EFI account on the homepage in order to access the following educational resources:
CPDme
EFI CPDme is a platform for EFI members to easily capture Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Professional Development (CME/CPD) activities you have undertaken, save evidence and create reflective notes.
It's easy to use, log in via the EFI website. ACtivities can be recorded under 4 different categories (Educational, Clinical, Professional or Academic) and self-reflective notes and other supporting documentation can be linked to each activity.
You can also create a portfolio report / annual statement to summarise your activity (suitable for EFI accreditation submissions).
Noteworthy, CPDme is meant for those EFI members that do not have access to a similar system through their work organization. Hence, if you already have a good system in use there is no need to start using CPDme as well.

19th International Summer School
Sponsored by ASHI, EFI, APHIA, and ARSHI, the International Summer School offers an in-depth course covering both theoretical and applied aspects of immunogenetics and histocompatibility. Participation is limited to a select group of attendees and is designed for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, laboratory directors in training, and experienced technologists in histocompatibility and/or immunogenetics who are seeking research experience or advanced educational opportunities.
The upcoming International Summer School will be held in Crete from November 11th to 14th, 2026.
This event offers an exciting opportunity for participants to engage in an enriching academic and cultural experience in one of the most beautiful and historic locations in Europe.
Details on the application process will be available soon on the EFI website.
Regional education meeting
Organisers of regional education meetings/workshops can apply for the official approval of their Educational/Scientific Activity by the EFI Education Committee. This official approval infers that EFI supports the educational content of the conference/workshop, and subsequently enables the organizers to use the EFI logo in all documents connected with their meeting.
Teaching Sessions
The teaching sessions undertaken during the EFI meeting should provide relevant scientific training events for physicians, biologists and technicians involved in the field of Immunogenetics. The opportunity to enlarge and share detailed knowledge on specific topics by competent speakers constitutes a unique opportunity of improvement for the entire EFI community. In order to contribute to the achievement of this aim, the EFI Education committee has defined these guidelines for the organizers of the EFI meeting to standardize the approach for the organization of the teaching sessions.
