On behalf of the Transfusion Centre of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, together with the School of Medicine of the University of Mostar and the Medical Chamber of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, we are pleased to share the First Announcement of Days of Transplantation Medicine in BiH, a scientific symposium with international participation, to be held in Mostar on 25–26 September 2026.
The symposium is conceived as a national professional and strategic forum dedicated to the development of transplantation medicine in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The program will cover donation and donor programs, solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, immunology and laboratory support, the organization and logistics of the transplantation process, and the ethical and professional challenges of the field.
The occasion will mark 10 years of development of the Department for Tissue Typing and Immunogenetics within the Transfusion Centre of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar.
