The 33rd Annual Meeting of the German Society for Immunogenetics (DGI) will be held in Erlangen (Bavaria, Germany) from 16-18 September 2026. You are cordially invited.
The conference venue will be the newly established Medical Lecture Hall Center of Erlangen University Hospital, which has been made available for this event. Erlangen, the smallest of Bavaria’s eight major cities, is part of the European Metropolitan Region of Nuremberg. The city is easily accessible via Nuremberg Airport as well as by rail. The meeting will be characterized by short distances and convenient accessibility: the railway station, conference venue, hotels, and the Thalermühle, where the conference dinner will take place, are all within comfortable walking distance.
The scientific program will encompass not only solid organ transplantation and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, but also disease associations, cellular therapies, and broader genetic aspects of immunology. This interdisciplinary approach is intended to bridge fundamental research and clinical application. In addition, the MTA Workshop and the MTA Forum will once again be offered in their well-established formats.
As in previous years, we look forward to receiving numerous abstract submissions and poster presentations. Several attractive awards, sponsored by the DGI, will be presented to the most outstanding contributions.
