During the EFI2026 conference in Edinburgh, the EFI Bioinformatics & IT Committee will organize two practical lunchtime hands-on workshops focused on bioinformatics and data analysis in histocompatibility and immunogenetics. These sessions are designed as small, interactive workshops where participants learn by doing. Each session provides step-by-step instructions and practical examples that can be applied directly in daily H&I work.
Session 1 – Basic Bioinformatics in H&I

A step-by-step introduction into H&I applications in R.
Participants only need to bring their own laptop. All exercises will run through a web browser, so no software installation is required.
Registration form: https://forms.office.com/e/jJQrMFsHJz. The registration must be completed before April 15, 2026. Please note that each session is limited to 25 participants to allow an interactive format. Registration will therefore be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
