The Times They Are A-Changin'

Who isn’t familiar with the hymn that emphasises the essential, constant change over time? In light of this, we cordially invite you to the 58th Annual Conference of the German Society for Transfusion Medicine and Immunohematology in the UNESCO City of Music, Mannheim on September 17-19, 2025.

In recent years, new key topics have emerged in our field. These include innovations in cell therapy for the treatment of hematological-oncological diseases, new concepts for diagnosing and treating disorders of the hematopoietic system, and, importantly, ensuring an adequate supply of blood components during emergencies and crises.

Together, we aim to analyze, discuss, and evaluate the latest findings. We are particularly excited about the scientific exchange with our colleagues from Sweden during Neighbor Day. Together with national and international institutions, we will discuss European regulations for Substances of Human Origin (SoHO).

We extend a special invitation to medical-technical assistants, specialists, and IT experts in transfusion medicine, as well as to manufacturers and distributors of medical devices and medicines.
