Information about the upcoming elections and voting

As you have been informed during the virtual 2021 EFI General Assembly EFI will hold elections for three Councillors to take up post during the General Assembly at the EFI2022 Conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Candidates
Upon our call for nominations, the response of 6 candidates was received and the candidates were approved by the EC during the EFI Autumn meeting held virtually in October 2021. The 6 nominated candidates are presented in the EFI Newsletter #96, please click here to be navigated to the candidate information.

As mentioned earlier there will be no voting for the position of Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Treasurer and the nomination is subject to approval by the EFI General Assembly in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Voting process
All active members (i.e. have paid their membership fees for 2021) will receive an invitation to vote on Friday 25 March 2022. This invitation email will be send by CES from the email address takepart@cesvotes.com.  

The invitation email send will hold a personal link to the ballot and is to be used only by you. Upon clicking the link, you will be navigated to the EFI voting website on the CES platform, where you will find the name of the candidates, a short CV and a photo. When making your vote, please note that your vote is only valid when you have selected three candidates out of the six candidates in the ballot, a vote holding less than 3 votes will not be accepted by the system.

Please note the elections for the three Councillor positions will close on Monday 11 April 2022 at noon.

Invitation to vote not received?
From previous electronic voting we learned that in some cases the invitation email from CES is directed to your spam or junk mail folder. In case you are not able to locate the invitation email at all, please contact me (ajvanhensbergen@lumc.nl) at the EFI Office for assistance.
